In Their Words
In a 22-piece design package, I developed an all inclusive body of work across site & socials for an inaugural editorial franchise, ‘In Their Words’ , a music industry service journalism series.
As former Digital Communications Manager for Okayplayer, my responsibilities included running 6 social media accounts, leading social takeovers with influencers and talent, leading production of 40+ FB Live performances/interviews and creating graphic assets. Such experience makes me equipped to handle high volume social media management and skilled in developing long term strategies to exponentially grow followers and engagement. For campaigns like the marketing of Beyonce’s ‘The Lion King: The Gift’ album, I exceeded the client’s impression benchmark by 210%.

In 2018, I created a social media style guide that redefined the visual identity of Okayplayer on social platforms through the design of 15+ templates that gave a cohesive look to franchises, quotes, new stories, takeovers and more.

PJ Morton: Gumbo Unplugged Live
In collaboration with Grammy-Award winning artist PJ Morton, I co-produced Okayplayer’s livestream video of Morton’s live recording of ‘Gumbo Unplugged’ which within 72 hours reached 1.2M people.
With experience developing custom proposals for 25+ clients like Disney, Adidas, Toyota & more, I provide creative solutions for brands that increases consideration & conversion to the brand’s services & products through authentic campaigns and strategic marketing. From ideation to execution, I can build out a marketing strategy that incorporates influencer marketing, live activations, video campaigns and more. In addition, I design marketing materials such as pitch decks, EPKS, media kits & more.
CASE STUDY:
In August 2018, music and cultural icon Janet Jackson returned to music with the release of her single “Made for Now”. In celebration, Janet Jackson partnered with Okayplayer and Uber in her journey to the Harlem Week block party to speak about women empowerment, equality, and Uber’s contributions to pushing these social movements forward. As Marketing lead of Okayplayer, I led this partnership through ideation to execution, exceeding the client’s expectation in video views by +61%.
